Jules Dervaes On Growing, Preparing Your Own Food, and a life worth Living.

Here is another lovely impromptu interview with Path to Freedom’s Jules Dervaes. I had the good fortune to spend a nice afternoon with Jules Dervaes and his inspiring family at the Cottonwood Film Festival, Home Grown Revolution film screening and freedom gardens swap-n-meet in Encinitas, CA June 6,2009. See another postingĀ  “Justin Dervaes Biodiesel Recipe.” Links: For their main website Path To Freedom.

He makes the point that many people and children go through life never really knowing where their food comes from. He calls it the disconnect. He talks about the hand preparation of food and how his cooking and prep for meals begins with planting the seed in the ground. Now that is slow food and a life worth living! Thanks Jules.
