This is a lovely, spiral bound, cook book with full color photos of delicious dishes that kids and parents would love. All recipes are based on healthy whole grains, beans, vegetable fruits and natural sweeteners. There is an additional DVD of some recipe demonstrations that can be purchased with the book or separately.
Sheri DeMaris is full time counselor and teaches the healthy cooing classes to fifth through eighth grade students. Together with her students, she developed a garden-to-plate cooking program and a kid’s cookbook, Healthy Kids in the Kitchen.
Sheri is also the host, director and producer of Tea with Sheri, an alternative- health television show.
